PIPE REPAIRS

Syntho-glass is a resin impregnated cloth repair system that is activated by water .no mixing !no measuring! no waiting! no mess! the fibre glass cloth is resin impregnated prior to packaging .Simply use directly from the package , Temperature will affect setting times. This innovative product will set under water making it ideal for applications such as corrosion protection , coating of pipe joints ,reinforcement, pilling protection, pipeline repair and is also suitable for electrical insulation .Application is simple . remove all dirt , scale and paint and dip in water for 20 seconds . Wrap as tight as physically possible around the pipe , covering adequately to the left and right of the repair area .Wait 30 minutes and restore pressure to the line.Syntho-glass will retain pressure on supply lines and its high adhesive and structural strength makes Syntho-glass ideal for all types of repair and maintenance application ,non-combustible and non-toxic, Syntho-glass can be sanded and painted and will not be affected by gas,oil or diesel.

1 Clean and roughen area to be repaired pipes and hoses should be shut prior to repair

2 Before opening bag, gloves should be put onto dry hands.Apply patch to the hole

3 Soak bandage in water for 20seconds.The resin is activated on opening the foil bag.

4 Wrap the bandage around the pipe covering the area suitably on both sides of the patch. The bandage must be pulled as tight as possible to ensure good bonding, and to take the shape of the patch and pipe

5 Work the bandage with hands after wrapping, squeezing and molding the bandage in the direction of the wrap, until the material has lost its initial work ability.

6 Holes that are large should be filled with quick steel prior to applying bandage

7 Syntho-glass is fully hardened in approximately 30 minutes and complete function can be resumed

Quicksteel

Product Information
QUICKSTEEL is a proprietary resin compound fortified
with steel powder.
QUICKSTEEL:
• Will not rust or oxide
• Is impervious to chemicals and corrosion.
• Fast curing. Sets steel hard in 15 minutes and fully cures in 60 minutes.
• Can be formed and shaped for a full five minutes when mixed.
• Will adhere to wet surfaces, underwater, and within chemicals. (Cure time is double when making repairs underwater or within chemicals.)
• Has a minimum three year shelf life in almost any environment.
• Is waste free. The exact amount can be cut or broken off from the master stick for mixing.
• Is ideal for making repairs on the road, in remote locations, etc.
• Is an ideal emergency repair product for toolbox, car, truck, off-road vehicle, boat, etc.
• Can be used as a sealant, adhesive, putty, cement, or to mold, reshape or reform products.
