Oil-resistant gasket material for medium-to-high loadings. Economical quality with good resistance to water, gases, oils and fuels.

General Properties and Applications:
Due to its superior resistance to steam and long-term steam sealabilty JMP 6000 is particularly recommended for all applications where thermal cycling, saturated or overheated steam are applied, e.g. heat exchangers, boilers, radiators, steam supply, power generation, etc.

Considerations for qasket material selection:

S ize:
Thickness, thinner gaskets are recommended. Gaskets larger than sheets must be dovetailed.
T emperature:
Peak and continuous. Refer to the PxT chart for recommended, caution and technical advice values.
A ppllcatlon:
Factors such as safety, accessibility of joint and installation procedures affect gasket selection.
M edium:
Refer to the chemical reference chart paying particular attention to steam, oxidizing agents and purging medium.
P ressure:
Operation design and spikes. JMP offers technical assistance on non standard flange bolting and surface finish.
