Technical Data Sheet - Nitrile Bonded Cork

General properties and application
Nitrile Bonded Cork is a high-grade composition of cork granules and a Nitrile binder. The sheet is flexible and oil resistant, making it an ideal gasket material. This grade of cork is particularly suited to applications where it is impossible to get a bolt torque to create a minimum sealing stress. The Nitrile binder makes it suitable for use with hot oils for transformer applications. The suitability for particular oils at specified temperatures should be confirmed.

Temperature - Recommended maximum - 120°C
Pressure Recommended for low pressure with bolt torque

Hardness (Shore) - 700 Shore A
